Water based epoxy primer for absorbent and non-absorbent substrates
Hazards Identification
Warning · Hazardous ingredients: [(tolyloxy) methyl] oxirane reaction product: bisphenol-A- (epichlorohydrin) epoxy resin (number average molecular weight ≤ 700) It causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause allergic skin reaction. Suspected of causing genetic defects. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection. Obtain special instructions before use. Avoid release to the environment. IF exposed or concerned: advice / attention. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice / attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Dispose of contents / container in accordance with local / national / international regulations. Contains epoxy. May cause allergic reaction.
First Aid Measures
Description of first aid measures · General information: Move victim to fresh air. For emergency aid self-imposed measures. Consult doctor immediately. · After inhalation: Supply fresh air and to be sure call for a doctor. In case of unconsciousness bring patient transport in stable side position. In case of complaints consult a physician. · After skin contact: Immediately wash with soap and water thoroughly. · After swallowing: Give water or milk if the patient is unconscious. Drink plenty of water and stay in the fresh air.
Firefighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media. CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam. Use fire fighting measures that suit the environment. · Extinguishing media for safety reasons unsuitable: Water with full jet
Personal protective equipment
General protective and hygienic measures: Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Wash hands before breaks and after work. · Respiratory protection: Respiratory protective device only when aerosol or mist. Filter A · Protection of hands: Protective gloves. The glove material must be impermeable and resistant to the product / the substance / the preparation. Select the glove material taking into account the penetration times, rates of diffusion and degradation. · Material of gloves PVC, neoprene or nitrile. · Eye protection: Safety glasses. · Body protection: Protective work clothing. Disposal
The disposal of the material must be in accordance with national legislation. Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not empty into drains. · Uncleaned packaging: Disposal must be made according to official regulations. The container can be reused when cleaned or exploit the material.
